Games
1. The number of participants
is limited to only 80 persons per pharmacy school team (72 players+ 8 supporters).
2. Each player
must be healthy and does not have any health problem.
3. One player is eligible to
play one modern game ONLY since all modern games will be started at the same
time at different venues.
4. Players of
modern games can also participate in tracks and traditional games.
5. For tracks and
traditional games, supporters can be the players.
6. Any player who
fail to abide by any of the rules, he/she will be immediately disqualified, or
if he/she has already participated in the game, the result of the game for that
particular person would be invalid.
7. The venue for most of the games is at IIUM Sports Complex.IIUM Sports
Complex consists of an indoor
sports complex, an outdoor courts, a swimming pool & a stadium.
Multipurpose classrooms will be used as operation room by the paramedic team,
which may include a medical officer. There are also changing rooms, bathrooms, musolla&
cafeteria at the Sports Complex.
8. If the weather is raining, the organizer
will switch to plan B.The game will be run indoor except tennis & takraw(need
to wait until the rain stops or up to considerations of committee).

13. Gold
system is used to determine overall champion. The pharmacy school with the most
gold medals wins (the same system is used by previous NPSC organizers).

2014 RULES & REGULATIONS
General Rules
1. Good sportsmanship must be practiced by all players.
2. Observe the separation between males and females while
playing or watching the games to prevent unwanted incidence.
3. Wear appropriate attire & Muslims must cover the
aurah (refer attire guidelines below).
4. All players, committees and supporters must respect
each other.
5. Contingent leaders (Chief mission) and captains are
responsible for the manners and behaviors of their teammates.
6. No inappropriate behaviors (dating, smoking, insulting)
during the tournament.
7. Each player must be a registered pharmacy student of
the respective university. Matric card and identification card verification
will be done during registration. If there is any act of cheating found, the
guilty player will be banned from playing the game.
8. Lecturers are strictly not allowed to be the players.
Post-graduate students are allowed. Players must be a member of their university’s
pharmacy society that they represent and still studying in the respective university.
9. The managers and captains of each university must make
sure that their teammates obey the general rules and regulations.
10. The referee’s decision on all matters is final and no
appeal will be entertained.
11. The organizers will not be responsible for any damage
or loss of belongings due to player’s carelessness.
Attire Guidelines
Female
ü Muslim: Wear
t-shirt with inner garments or any means that cover the aurah
ü Non- Muslim:
Proper attire (miniskirts, shorts and tight-fitting pants are not allowed).
Male
ü Muslim: Wear
tight for shorts that end above knee or any means that cover aurah
ü Non-Muslim:

Games Rules:
1. One player is eligible to play one modern game ONLY.
2.
Each player
must be healthy and does not have any health problems.
3. No pharmacy school is allowed to send two or more teams per game.
4. Players must bring their sports equipment such as shoes, rackets, and
ping pong paddles.
5. All players must wear sports attire during the game. Each team must wear
their team standardized jersey.
6. Wear appropriate attire according to the guidelines given. Muslims must
cover their aurah.
7. Islamic environment of IIUM should be preserved.
8. Players must arrive at the court 10 minutes
before the start of the game.
9. All players must register themselves before
the tournament and the player must be a registered pharmacy student at
respective universities. Organizer has the right to disqualify any
player who fails to abide by this rule.
10. Player’s arrival that is more than 10 minutes late to the venue of the
game will be considered as lose and free win will be given to the opponent.
11. Referee’s decision is final.Players are advised to avoid any misconduct
during the match. The referee has the right to disqualify the player in case of
player’s misconduct.
12. Any
technical difficulties will be resolved only by the organizing board.
13. Organizer
has the rights to alter the rules if necessary.
14. The
use of drugs in sports will not be tolerated and will be handled to authorized
bodies.
Any amendments of the rules and regulations are
within the sole discretion of the organizer and the organizer’s decisions are final.
